Dear Boeing Employee, Don’t Miss Out On WIC!

The Nutrition Program for Women Infants and Children

WIC helps children under age five and pregnant women in working and unemployed families who are on a tight budget. It’s easy and quick to find out if you’re income eligible - right over the phone! WIC even takes care of the paperwork. Smart for your children’s health, and easy for you. Here’s what you can receive if you qualify:

WIC is there for newly unemployed and working families. Many families don’t realize they are eligible. The income guidelines for WIC are much less strict than the income guidelines for some other programs. The table below provides examples of WIC income eligibility.

In addition to providing free growth check-ups, the WIC program gives checks that can be used at grocery stores for $50 worth of nutritious foods each month. WIC checks can be used to buy fluid milk, cheese, eggs, cold and hot cereals, fruit juice, peanut butter, eggs, and dried beans/peas. These foods give nutrients needed for good growth and development.
