1.       BUILD A TRAINING PLAN

q       Meet with a counselor at the school designated to provide services for laid-off Boeing employees.
Laid-off workers planning to attend a community or technical college must see a

2.       GET APPROVAL FOR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS WHILE TRAINING (REQUIRED)

q       If you will be attending school and want to continue collecting Unemployment Insurance you
MUST
get approval from the Employment Security Department. This approval is called
Commissioner Approved Training or CAT.

 

q       Apply for CAT by attending a CAT Workshop. CAT Workshops are held at the

3.       OBTAIN FUNDING FOR YOUR TRAINING
