Apply for Prof and Tech Negotiation Teams
Help negotiate the next contract between SPEEA and The Boeing Company by applying for a seat on the 2012 Northwest Professional or Technical negotiation teams.


Applications must be received by noon Thursday, Dec. 1, at the SPEEA Tukwila or Everett offices.


Negotiation team members go through training and work with a team of staff to itemize and prioritize changes important to employees in the bargaining units – based on member surveys, case histories and market analysis.


Puget Sound contracts expire Oct. 6, 2012.


Who can apply?

  • Must be a regular SPEEA member for the past three years.
  • Must be an active member for at least two years of the past three years – such as being a committee member, Area Rep, Council Rep, and/or Executive Board member. Members currently on the Tellers Committee or Judicial Review Committee cannot concurrently serve on the Negotiation Team.
  • Attend one of the Negotiation Team orientation sessions (see below).
  • Complete and submit an application form (click here).
